A Reflection on Love, Loss, and Unwritten Words
Through the corridors of time,
I find myself tracing the pathways
Where we once strolled together.
Along those familiar
trails,
I encounter the illusion
of a lingering shadow -
A silhouette that bears
your likeness,
Yet seems a stranger to
my heart.
And I wonder,
Why does this shadow
feel so familiar,
Yet so unlike the person
I knew?
You were forever in
bloom,
The very embodiment of a
smile,
And perhaps, somewhere
in your words,
I still exist as I once
did -
A thought that stirred
your heart,
A feeling that found its
way into verse,
A name you may have hidden
Between the lines of a
poem.
But now, your shadow
wears sorrow,
A statue carved out of
grief,
An echo that
reverberates with pain.
And a question returns
to me,
One that time has never
answered:
Do you
still write for me?
Do my memories ever
visit your pen?
Does my name still find
a place
In the silence between
your words?
Or have I become
Just another shadow
In the corridors of your
time?
How have you been,
My distant echo?
