I write about books, cinema, people, society and the small moments of life that often carry the biggest meanings. Some pieces begin with a memory, some with a film, some with a question -and some simply with a thought that refuses to go away.

Through my writing, I try to look beyond the obvious and find the human story underneath.

CINEMA

Cinema has been one of my enduring interests as a writer. I am particularly drawn to the people behind the performances - their journeys, struggles, personalities and the stories that rarely appear on the screen.

My writing on Hindi cinema looks beyond films and fame to explore the lives and legacies of the actors who became part of our memories.

My ongoing work on the stars of Hindi cinema is an attempt to preserve not only their screen images, but also the human stories behind them.

ABOUT ME

I have spent much of my life moving between different worlds - as a soldier, a university administrator, and now a writer.

The Army taught me discipline and resilience. Life taught me that every person carries a story, often hidden behind an ordinary face. Writing has given me the freedom to explore those stories, preserve memories and ask questions that have stayed with me.

Today, I write across genres and subjects, but my interest remains the same: people, their lives, their choices and the stories behind them.
