Published during the early years of my literary journey, Kiran Vihuna Suraj holds a special place in my writing life.
I was only 33 when this book was published. Looking back after so many years, I may not remember every thought and emotion that shaped these poems, but the book remains a record of the young writer I once was - and of a literary journey that began many years ago.
Some books are remembered for what they say. Others are remembered because they remind us of who we were when we wrote them.

ਕੰਵਲਜੀਤ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਸੰਜੀਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਇਰੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਓਪਰਾ ਨਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਚਲਿਤ ਕਾਵਿ-ਮੁਹਾਵਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਉਸਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਇਰੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਸੰਗਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਰਲ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਖਮ ਅਭਿਿਵਅਕਤੀ ਹੈ। ਛਟਪਟਾਹਟ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਉਸਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਇਰੀ ਦਾ ਮੀਰੀ ਗੁਣ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲ ਪਲੇਠੀ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਗਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
