Supreme Court Rebukes Chandigarh Mayor Election Conduct Amid Controversy

This is a mockery of democracy. It is the murder of democracy. A case should be filed against this individual." The court declared the victory of the candidate, contested by eight Congress-AAP alliance hopefuls, invalid after the votes were declared unlawfully altered.

The court emphasized the need for a comprehensive review of the entire record and scheduled a personal appearance by the presiding officer on February 19 for clarification on his conduct.
